In the Ayurvedic research, the inplans is on reformulation and research among traditional products prescribed by great physicians. The accent is in preventing the obsolescence of products have a great deal to give to the modern world. Reformulation of products is undertaken to improve the acceptability of the product. 

In another area of Ayurvedic R&D, new products are sought to be formulated. Using sophisticated modern means, traditional herbs and other ingredients have been put together to form new preparations.
