KASHAYA PANA

Kashaya is one among the most important oushada kalpanas in ayurveda. Procedure of taking aqeous extracts by boiling raw drugs is called kashaya kalpana.They are water soluble extracts of herbal drugs.

PROCEDURE

Prescribed raw drugs are collected , dried, cleaned and boiled by adding 16 times (or 8 times) water till it get reduced to 1/8th part.
